Where’s the Line to See Jesus

There are lines to see movies, board planes, buy gas and check out of a store. There are lines at restaurants, stadiums and the bank. At Christmas time there are even lines to see Santa! The Bible says that one day, you will stand in a line to see Jesus; where He will find you “blessed to enter the kingdom” or “cursed, into the eternal fire prepared for the devil” (Matthew 25:31-46). Have you ever told a lie? Stolen anything? Hated someone? Jesus calls hatred murder. Used God’s name carelessly? That’s blasphemy! Will you be innocent or guilty? By this standard we are all guilty (cursed)!  Two thousand years ago, God sent His only son Jesus Christ. Jesus being fully God and fully man, lived a perfect life and willingly became the perfect sacrifice for the sin of the whole world. He died on a cross to pay for your sin (1 John 2:2). Jesus rose from the dead, defeating sin, death and the devil. If you will repent of your sin and put your trust in Jesus Christ alone, then you will receive Christ’s righteousness (Acts 17:31, Romans 5:19) “into eternal life” (Matthew 25:46). Repent and Believe the Gospel! (Mark 1:15)
