Nothing is certain except what and taxes?
Despite the popular saying, there are many people who do not pay taxes! However, “it is appointed for man to die once, and after that comes judgment.” (Hebrews 9:27) How will you do? All liars, thieves, adulterers, fornicators, blasphemers, murderers and coveters will suffer a second death and a fire never quenched (in hell)! (1 Cor. 6:9-10; Rev. 21:8) Innocent or guilty? Heaven or hell? God’s desire is not to send you to hell. The message of Easter is, “Do not be alarmed. You seek Jesus of Nazareth, who was crucified. He has risen; He is not here.” (Mark 16:6) Jesus being fully God and fully man, lived a perfect life, died on the cross and was resurrected from the dead. He defeated sin, death, and the devil too. He is the only acceptable payment for your sin. Repent of your sins. (Acts 17:30) Trust Jesus alone to save you. (John 3:36, Mark 1:15) The free gift of eternal life in Heaven can be yours.
