Which Came First / Chicken or Egg
The Bible answers the age-old question. “God created … every living creature…” (Genesis 1:20) This includes the chicken! It includes you. Here is another question. Where will you spend eternity: heaven or hell? “It is appointed once for man to die and then the judgment.” (Hebrews 9:27). If God judges you using the Ten Commandments (Exodus 20:3-17), will He find you innocent or guilty? Have you ever told a lie (9th) or stolen anything (8th)? Have you ever hated someone or called him or her a fool (6th)? Jesus calls that murder! (Matthew 5:21-23) Have you used God’s name as a curse word (3rd)? That’s blasphemy. God sees you as a liar, a thief, a murderer and a blasphemer at heart. You, like all men, will stand guilty before God. Does it concern you that your eternal destiny will be hell? (Revelation 21:8) God does not want you to go to hell. (Romans 6:23) Jesus, being fully man and fully God, lived a perfect life, died on the cross and rose from the dead to save you from sin, death, the devil and God’s wrath.
